CLS designs and manufactures custom made absorbent systems. One absorbent system goes into one reactor charge. One reactor charge is made up of several layers of variable Zeolytes. The cell shape and size distribution of each Zeolyte layer specifically removes the range of Cl and S species desired. The ratios between the layers and the actual cell size shape and distributions are changed within a 3 or 4 cycle period. This is necessary in order to achieve the system that optimally removes that specific cocktail of Cl or S species contained in the feed.
Each absorbent system is therefore specific to each reactor. Every reactor charge is like an individual and it cannot be replicated to be used in another reactor. CLS does not make a family of products but rather it creates individual reactor loads, each with a unique "recipe".
Designing and producing our own material allows us to continually alter and improve these "recipes" to achieve optimal chloride balance for each reformer circuit.
